Toddler Safety Chair 20 cm Seat Height | Nursery Low Chair

A 20 cm seat height is the specification that lets a two-year-old sit down and get up on their own. Above that, an adult has to lift; at 20 cm the child’s feet reach the floor and the transaction is theirs.

Across a room of twelve toddlers seated and unseated four times a day, that difference removes roughly fifty lifts from a staff member’s back. It is the least glamorous and most consequential dimension on the chair.

Enclosing sides and a back give postural support to children still developing trunk control, keeping them upright at a table rather than sliding sideways — which matters for feeding, for fine-motor table work and for how long a child can actually stay engaged.

The frame is stable and low-set, with a footprint wide enough that a child pushing back from the table does not tip. Surfaces are sealed and wipe clean.
