A light table changes what children notice. Held up to a window, a translucent counter is just a coloured disc; laid on a lit surface, its colour saturates, overlaps with the disc beside it and makes a third colour appear. Children discover colour mixing without being told it exists.

The panel is 80 × 80 cm — large enough for four children to work at once, each with their own quadrant, which removes the turn-taking friction of a small A3 panel. At 49 cm the table is low, sized for children to sit at on floor cushions or KG chairs.

Uses run well beyond colour: leaf skeletons and x-ray sheets for biology, translucent letters and numerals for early literacy and maths, sand spread thinly for mark-making, and construction with transparent blocks. It is one surface that serves science, art and sensory work in turn.

The frame is solid wood with an even, glare-free lit surface and rounded corners throughout.
