Y-Plus

Y-Plus is the school-supplies brand of Shanghai Friendship Pencil Sharpener Company Ltd., founded in 1990 and selling under the Y-Plus name since 2010. It started with sharpeners — still the core competence — and now spans ten categories and more than 200 items across cutting, sharpening, measuring and desk accessories, sold in over 65 countries. The design brief throughout is kid-friendly: rounded bodies, safe blade housings, shaving containment and bright colourways aimed at primary-school desks.
