Description

A printed map tells children where things are. This one makes them decide, and that difference is the entire product.

Sixty-seven pieces come off and go back on. Animals, landmarks and country labels attach anywhere on the cloth, so a child places the panda and then has to defend the choice — and a child who put it in the wrong place and moved it remembers the right one far better than a child who read a label.

That makes it a resource with a hundred sessions in it rather than one. Strip it bare and hand out the pieces; ask a group to place only the animals; put up the oceans and leave the continents to the class. The same chart runs a different lesson each time.

The pieces re-stick repeatedly, which is what separates this from a laminated poster with velcro dots that stops gripping by the second term.

Cotton-polyester blend with flannel and non-woven appliqué, 90 × 120 cm, with hanging tabs across the top. Labels are in English. Saudi Arabia is marked, which is the first place most children here will look.
