A poster tells a child what is inside them. A human body model they assemble makes them work out where each part goes, and the difference in what sticks is substantial.

Children place organs into position and cover them, which forces engagement with relative location — the heart above the stomach, the lungs either side, everything fitted into a space that turns out to be smaller than they expected. Getting it wrong and adjusting is the learning.

Body topics also carry directly into health and self-care conversations that early-years settings are required to cover: what the heart does when you run, why food goes down, why sleep matters. Having a physical model in front of children makes those conversations concrete rather than abstract.

At 70 × 50 cm the board is large enough for a small group to work at together and for each organ piece to be a manageable size for small hands.
