Six-Bay Wooden Locker Unit 120×39.5×130 cm for Nurseries

Six bays rather than sixteen — because this unit is not trying to store the most things, it is trying to give six children a space that is properly, visibly their own.

Each bay runs full height and is fitted out for the whole set of belongings: a hook or rail for a coat, a shelf at bag height, and an open base for shoes. Nothing needs to be stacked on top of anything else, which is the reason a child can retrieve one item without dismantling the pile.

At 130 cm the bays are tall enough for a coat to hang without dragging, yet the shelf and base stay in a child’s reach. The 39.5 cm depth takes a loaded bag square-on.

Solid wood construction, rounded edges, clear protective finish. The open-front format is deliberate: it lets a teacher see at a glance which bay still has a coat in it at home time, and it removes the doors that in practice get left hanging open anyway.
